Lorenzo's Standard
Founder Lorenzo Ruano served six years in the United States Marines and 26 years with the California Highway Patrol. CHiP Golf carries that same simple standard: prepare well, respect people, and earn what you wear.
Founding Cause
CHiP Golf plans to support the California Association of Highway Patrolmen Widows and Orphans Trust Fund, which helps families connected to the CHP community. The cause fits the founder, the crest, and the brand.
The Founder
Lorenzo was born in Sonora, Mexico and raised in Las Vegas after his mother brought four children to the United States for a better shot. Her sacrifice shaped his can-do standard.
He served six years in the United States Marines, then 26 years with the California Highway Patrol. After nearly 32 years of service, the golf course became a place to reconnect, reflect, laugh, and spend time with the people who matter.
I built CHiP Golf to celebrate the game, the people we share it with, and the memories that stay with us long after the final putt is buried.
A portion of proceeds supports CHP families through the CAHP Widows and Orphans Trust Fund.
